Getting there (and back):

Advance notice is always best for us to work with your cruise line, as they require planning in their ordering and menu prep for each cruise. For example, Norwegian Cruise Line and Disney Cruise Line are able to accommodate a wide variety of dietary restrictions, including gluten, soy, egg, nuts, dairy and shellfish.
Viking River Cruises includes vegetarian options at each meal, and can generally prepare low sodium and gluten free meals upon request. However, notice at time of booking is best to ensure these and other needs are met.
Crystal Cruises can accommodate dietary needs with advance notice, preferably at time of booking. In addition, Deluxe PURE Staterooms at Sea are available aboard the Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony. For more information about these hypoallergenic stateroom options, click here or contact us.
Caribbean and Mexico
Going all-inclusive? Many resort chains are picking up the allergy friendly mantle.
The Sandals and Beaches properties throughout the Caribbean are quite possibly the most accommodating outside the United States, and among a broad spectrum of food allergies and needs. Each resort includes a culinary concierge desk with all restaurant menus, special food preparation stations for modified food orders, and take cross-contamination very seriously. The Hard Rock Hotel resort and casino locations throughout the Caribbean and Mexico can also accommodate common food allergies.
Other resort chains are also able to accommodate certain allergies. Regardless of your destination, providing notice at time of booking will give us the best opportunity to support your needs.
Walt Disney World and Disneyland
Walt Disney World and Disneyland‘s dining options, both quick service and table service, through the theme parks and within the resort hotels, are able to accommodate a wide variety of dietary needs, including gluten, soy, egg, nuts, dairy and shellfish. Other allergens and dietary needs can also be accommodated. Kitchen and wait staff are trained in cross-contamination, and meals are prepared separately when possible.
When you indicate a food allergy in your table service reservation at a Walt Disney World or Disneyland resort restaurant, a chef will come to your table to discuss your needs and identify safe options. You can also notify your cashier at any quick service restaurant, and they’ll have someone do the same there. They will do everything they can to meet your allergen needs.
Specialized allergen cleaning of your Walt Disney World or Disneyland resort guest room may be available with advance notice.
Universal Orlando Resort
Universal Orlando Resort includes the Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure theme parks, as well as Universal CityWalk and four on-property hotels. The Resort lists common food allergies, phenylketonuria (PKU), and metabolic disorders among their dining accommodations.
In addition to including your needs in your dining reservations, Universal Orlando Resort strongly recommends that dietary considerations and menu options are discussed no less in advance, as not every dining location may be able to accommodate specific needs. However, we have witnessed first-hand their willingness to make every effort to limit exposure in the kitchens and in transport, and seek to make dietary accommodations wherever and whenever possible. At table service restaurants, notify your server and a chef will assist with navigating safe menu options.
In addition, the specialized allergen cleaning of your Universal Orlando Resort guest room may be available with advance notice. There are also a few hotels in the general Orlando theme park area which offer a limited number of PURE hypoallergenic hotel rooms. Notice must be given at time of booking, so please contact us as soon as possible if specific airborne allergens are a consideration.
